VOCEL’s Child-Parent Play Classes
VOCEL's Child-Parent Play Classes are free, weekly spaces where children ages 0–4 and their parents or caregivers can learn, play, and grow together through fun, brain-building activities!
Using research-based, play-centered activities, our classes are intentionally designed for both young children and the adults who care for them. Families have the opportunity to build connections, learn together, and develop knowledge and skills that support children's learning and development.
Classes are offered at locations throughout Chicago and virtually, making it easier for families to find a class that works for them. We offer classes in English, Spanish, and bilingual settings to support families in the language that feels most comfortable to them.
What can families expect?
At each class, children and their parents or caregivers will have opportunities to:
Learn and play together through fun, brain-building activities
Build skills that support children's learning and development
Connect with other families in their community
Learn new ways to support their child's growth at home
