Mady Frischer
Manager of Individual Giving & Development Events Mady@VOCEL.org
“Access to play should be a right, not a privilege.”
In their role at VOCEL, Mady supports the organization’s mission to advance early childhood development. They believe every child deserves the fundamental rights of childhood — including play, learning, and safety — regardless of their circumstances.
Mady oversees individual donor engagement, serves as a liaison to the Associate Board, and leads VOCEL’s fundraising events, including the Benefit Dinner and Community Playdate. They bring more than a decade of experience in community engagement, event execution, and fundraising.
Mady began their career working within the Jewish community at organizations such as North Shore Congregation Israel and Mishkan Chicago before continuing their work in development and community impact at the Les Turner ALS Foundation. They are excited to return to their roots of supporting young people and helping children thrive.
Passionate about play-based social-emotional learning, Mady recently completed their first year in the Master of Social Work program at Northeastern Illinois University, where they maintain high academic standing. They are thrilled to bring their passion for play, equity, and community-building to VOCEL in support of its mission.
